Description
This Original German 1933 NSDAP Party Reichsparteitag Nuremberg Rally Badge is an outstanding and historically significant early Third Reich political collectible. Constructed in hollow-backed brass, this badge commemorates the 1933 Reichsparteitag (Reich Party Rally) held in Nuremberg shortly after the National Socialist Party consolidated power in Germany. Early rally badges from this transitional period remain highly sought after due to their historical importance, attractive design, and connection to one of the earliest official NSDAP mass gatherings under Adolf Hitler’s government.
The obverse features a detailed embossed design with sharp lettering and crisp imagery that remain exceptionally well preserved. The brass construction has developed a beautiful aged patina over time, giving the badge an authentic period appearance while retaining excellent detail throughout. The hollow-backed reverse is textbook for early-produced examples and demonstrates correct wartime manufacturing characteristics associated with pre-war political insignia.
The attachment hardware on the reverse remains fully intact and functional, with no evidence of repair or replacement. The badge exhibits minimal handling wear and retains excellent definition across the entire surface. The raised details, borders, and lettering remain strong and easily visible, making this an excellent display example for collectors of early NSDAP political memorabilia or Reichsparteitag artifacts.
The annual Nuremberg Party Rallies became some of the most recognized political gatherings of the Third Reich era, drawing massive crowds, military formations, and political organizations from across Germany. Early 1933 rally memorabilia is especially desirable because it represents the formative years of the regime before later wartime production changes simplified many commemorative pieces.
Overall, this Original 1933 NSDAP Reichsparteitag Nuremberg Rally Badge is a superb near mint example with excellent eye appeal, attractive patina, and strong historical significance. An exceptional addition to any advanced German political, Third Reich, or WWII memorabilia collection.
