Description

This is an original German Third Reich 25-Year National Faithful Service Medal, awarded for long and faithful service to the state. This silver-grade decoration was instituted on 30 January 1938 and was presented to civil servants, government officials, and state employees who completed 25 years of honorable service under the German Reich.

The medal is struck in solid silver and features the characteristic cross pattée design with pebbled arms. The obverse displays a central national eagle clutching a swastika, surrounded by a circular wreath, while the reverse bears the inscription “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE” (For Faithful Service). The medal retains excellent original detail with sharp edges and crisp definition.

Included is the original cornflower-blue ribbon, which remains in excellent condition with strong color and minimal age wear. The overall presentation is clean and well-preserved, making this a highly desirable example for collectors of German civil service awards.

Condition:

  • Medal: Excellent condition with strong original finish and detail
  • Ribbon: Original, vibrant, and well-preserved

A fine and authentic example of a Third Reich long-service award, ideal for advanced collectors or display in a historically focused collection.
