Description:

This is an Original WW2 German Third Reich Hitler Youth Hitlerjugend armband of machine woven rayon with knit bevo swastika. Multi-piece construction. Interior has paper RZM tag with Hitlerjugend emblem in red ink. Does not fluoresce under blacklight. Second, a Hitler Youth 1937 Jugendfest pin. Reverse has "Hillenbrand & Broer" and "Ludenscheid" in raised relief. Very good condition. Armband fabric shows some aging discoloration.

History:

The Hitlerjugend (Hitler Youth) was a youth organization of the Nazi Party in Germany, established in the 1920s and growing in prominence during the Third Reich. The armband worn by members of the Hitlerjugend was a significant symbol of their allegiance to Nazi ideology.
