This U.S. Browning BAR M1918A2 Automatic Rifle 20-Round Magazine – “S” Marked – Excellent Condition
Original U.S. Brownning Automatic Rifle M1918A2 20-round detachable box magazine for .30-06 Springfield ammunition. Used by the BAR throughout World War II, the Korean War and other conflicts.
Magazine is "S" marked. "S" is a known U.S. contractor marking that is found on several different brands of M1918 and M1918A2 BAR magazines. In the case of this particular 20-round .30-06 Springfield magazine it is marked "S" and is made by Seymour Products Co.. Magazine has all steel construction with a welded body, feed lips, floorplate, and follower all being welded together to form a complete unit. Finish on the magazine is still strong but does have some mild handling and storage wear.
This magazine is in excellent condition with crisp markings, solid seams, clean feed lips and a strong look. A great accessory for the U.S. BAR M1918A2 rifle. It would be a great addition to any WWII infantry display, military small-arms collection or BAR rifle parts collection.
