Description
Manufactured in 1945, with "ac/45" code and date marked on the receiver and "eagle/359" proofed. Matching visible serial number on the bolt carrier, non-matching "eagle/(swastika)/359" proofed stock. Topped off with a "dow" code ZF4 scope (serial number 22627) on a rough forged reproduction throw lever mount.
Condition Excellent, retaining most of the original finishes with smooth grey and brown patinas on the balance, some light freckling, a refinished buttplate, and clear markings. The wood is very fine with minor handling wear and partially clear stamps. Mechanically excellent. The scope is fine with hazed optics.
