This Original 1942 "dot" code G.33/40 is a highly desirable, scarce WW2 German mountain carbine (Gebirgsjäger) produced at the Brno factory in occupied Czechoslovakia. These 7.92mm rifles are recognized by a 19.6-inch barrel and a protective metal plate on the left side of the buttstock. All-matching examples, particularly with intact, un-sporterized stocks, are considered rare, high-value collectibles.
