Description:
This is an authentic WW2 German M35 helmet liner, manufactured in 1936 by Schuberth Werke A.G., Braunschweig, one of the most recognized helmet and liner producers of the Third Reich period. Stamped with the D.R.P. patent mark, this liner reflects the earliest pattern designed for the M35 Stahlhelm.
Crafted in size 68, it features the classic eight-finger leather liner system, reinforced with the original aluminum band. The liner leather remains in excellent condition, showing only light natural aging while retaining its flexibility and full shape. The inner band carries the correct wartime rivet placement and Schuberth maker’s details.
As the M35 was the first major steel helmet model of the Wehrmacht, early liners like this are highly sought after by collectors. They represent the transition from WW1 designs into the modernized protective gear used throughout WW2.
This liner is ideal for completing an original M35 helmet shell, serving as a historically correct piece.
