Description

This is an "Certified Original" Third Reich Double Sided Nazi NSDAP Banner Flag Made of Wool Bunting Cloth. This flag features a red field, a white circle in the center, and a black swastika within the circle. 

History

The German Third Reich double-sided Nazi NSDAP banner flag emerged as a prominent symbol during Adolf Hitler's National Socialist rule which spanned from the early 1930s until 1945. The durable wool bunting cloth material made this flag type suitable for displaying at party rallies and government buildings and military installations and public events to show Nazi Party (NSDAP) allegiance. The flag displays a red background with a white circular area in the center that contains a black swastika emblem of the National Socialist German Workers' Party. The double-sided design of this banner allowed it to be used for parades and public demonstrations as well as multi-story building hangings to display the insignia from both directions. The use of wool bunting cloth as banner material proved suitable because it resisted weather damage while maintaining bright dye colors which preserved the flag's striking appearance. The flags included reinforced hoist edges together with built-in suspension loops or rope attachments for hanging purposes.
