This is an Original WW2 German Leather Hardshell P.08 Luger Holster Rare DWM WaA279 1940-1944 Solingen Pinneberg DLU. This exceptional and rare example of a World War II German P.08 Luger hardshell holster, produced between 1940 and 1944 by the noted wartime manufacturer Deutsche Lederwaren-Industrie GmbH (DLU), located in Solingen-Pinneberg. Constructed from high-quality blackened leather, this holster represents the standard military-issue design used by German forces but stands out for its uncommon combination of markings.
Stamped on the rear is the clear manufacturer code “DLU”, denoting Solingen-based production, and the rare Waffenamt acceptance mark WaA279, attributed to DWM (Deutsche Waffen- und Munitionsfabriken) inspectors, adding a unique and highly desirable feature for collectors. The Waffenamt stamp indicates military acceptance and usage, while the DLU code affirms wartime authenticity.
