This is an "Mint" Condition All-Matching Original Late War Type 94 pistol with Serial Number 55984 Manufactured in June 1944 by the Chuo Kogyo company under the supervision of the Nagoya Arsenal. It features 2 Matching Serial Numbered Magazines with a Beautiful Leather Holster in Incredible Condition. 

History

The Type 94 (introduced in 1934) was a compact service pistol used by the Imperial Japanese Army during the 1930s and through World War II. Designed in the interwar period as a short, easy-to-carry sidearm for officers and NCOs, the Type 94 saw widespread frontline use in China, Southeast Asia and the Pacific theatre. It is historically notable for its distinctive styling and unique safety/trigger link arrangement, and it remains of high interest to militaria collectors because many wartime examples survived in theatre kit and later returned with occupying forces or collectors.
