An original WWI German Bavarian Veterans Cross Of Merit (Bundesehrenzeichen 2. Form des Bayerischen Kriegerbundes). Made of silver and blue enamel design. This extremely detailed Bavarian pin is made of silver metal coupled with a blue enameled ring and the wording "Bayerischer Kriegerbund Der Verdienst". It measures approximately 50mm by 42mm and is hallmarked with "Deschler & Sohn - Munchen. It is very heavy and thick and is pin backed. Issued between 1918 – 1933.
