History:
The Order of the Sacred Treasure (???, Zuih?sh?) is one of Japan’s most distinguished awards, established in 1888by Emperor Meiji. This honor was given to individuals, both military and civilian, for meritorious service to Japan. During World War II (1939-1945), the award played a significant role in recognizing contributions to the Japanese Empire.
Among its various ranks, the 6th Class Medal (Silver Rays Badge) was awarded to individuals for mid-level distinguished service, often to military officers, civil servants, and professionals who had significantly contributed to their fields.
The 6th Class Sacred Treasure Medal follows the traditional format of the order, with a distinct design reflecting its status.

- Shape: A Maltese cross with white enameled rays
- Central Motif: A blue-enameled central medallion, symbolizing purity and loyalty
- Surrounding Ornaments: The cross is adorned with radiating rays and four stylized paulownia leaves, a symbol of the Imperial House of Japan
